Finale

Earthlings.. we have come to the end
This is so sad for me because I really did enjoy myself during this whole process.

For my final entry, just gonna share a few things. so if it's longer than my usual entries, I apologise.

before I get into the courseware, we had a test for this subject. the final assessment before we submit the courseware. i made my notes and revised them several times. but lord, during the test there were a few things i missed when i made my notes. I just hope I did well with that one. I really need to catch up on my grades, since I didn't do as well for my other subjects. that one really got to me cause, well you know it's tough when you have to keep up with brilliant students. i constantly feel like my IQ is like a small child when compared to them. enough of that, I just hope I can get at least an A for this subject.

as for the courseware, to be truly honest i feel like i could do more actually. i mean, i know how, i just didn't have the creativity to do it I suppose. when I saw other groups coursewares, it all seems so fancy. I should have done more, i should have been more creative. ughh sorry, here I go again feeling sorry for myself. I apologise for that. I'll link the courseware below.

this subject really was a fun one for me. it's taken me back to my high school days when I took IT. it was fun then as it was fun now. I'm going to miss this class and also my madam. my sweet sweet madam.. she deserved so much better than my annoying class  😂 she's also the one that got me into podcasts. btw if you remember the podcast i was listening to (Myths and Legends), I finished it all already. hehe anyway, I'm so thankful though, she's basically showed me a whole new world, a world of possibilities. it's not a shocker if one day I have a minor in IT, and it will be all because of her. (lol maybe....)

thank you, madam for the knowledge you share, for the happiness you brought. I wish you only the best.

Chapter 11

hello everyone! 

welcome back and thanks for tuning in our progress for the courseware project. 

for this week's  progress, it was more on helping our my teammates. 

first off, my helping out aisyah figure out the best template to use for the exercise (cause she's in charge of that). we went back and forth with a few types but decided that the drag & drop was the best. I helped her by showing how to put in images and text in the category box. 

next up is along a.k.a Zahidah Husna. she brought up the issue that it was a bit difficult doing the lesson in the smartbuilder software. it would complicate the flow. We agreed that she would use Powtoon. Hopefully, with the incorporation of another CALL software, we'd score some extra marks? hehe  

lastly is kak nur. alright, for kak nur's part I lent my voice for our story telling activity. you have to stay tuned to which part was mine..! though at first, i thought she wanted everyone to be involved in the story but after listening to the finished product, it was only me and kak nur  😆

Hey, folks ! 

OMG its coming! 

ok, that an exaggeration I suppose. but just a progress report for our courseware project, my team and I have finally decided on a theme which will be...................................

Under the Sea !

hehe so excited and can't wait to get to work. You see, my team has a very organised plan when it comes to doing work. each of us will be sort of the 'leader' for each project and just so yours truly is the leader for this assignment.

 I'm responsible for making sure everything works and is according to the right flow. kak nur and I are also on duty for the report. btw much to learn about the 'language of computers' 😂

 

anyway, for our project, we've finalised the theme and also came up with the details of our storyboard. our aim would be some smart ass 3rd graders (pardon my French)

Chapter 9

Welcome folks! and we are back with another episode of SmartBuilder.

As promised, I'll provide pictures of my projects this week. For this week, my madam had taught how to include sound and how to use the hotspot. FYI, not the internet sharing hotspot. 

Hotspot in SmartBuilder it's basically like a link you can attach to a specific page. As for the sound, I was so excited to finally learn how to do it. I wanted to learn how to include a sound for my projects from the first lesson when we were introduced to SmartBuilder. But Madam was having a hard time teaching the others so she said that would be on another day. and this week was that day ! it was fairly simple actually, you just have to create some instructions and get a master page. that's it. simple right? 

so that's my project. the box you see on Batman is the hotspot I mentioned earlier. I also had included Batman's Theme song on this project. (sorry you can't hear it) As for that finger, that's Along. She wanted to be included in the photo, so excuse her 😁 Anyway, if you click on that box (the hotspot) you will see this ↓

And.... that all for this week. I will keep updating the courseware project but we're only done with the lesson and half of the storyboard so there's still plenty to do. See you next time!

Chapter 8

It's arts & crafts week!

welcome one and all, I apologise for this week's delay. tbh I was busy filming my short film. Yes! I'm also doing a short film aside from this blog. I have a life, weird right?  hahaha

Anyway.. this week I'm going to share with you a couple things. This week Im doing Canva and SmartBuilder.

This is SmartBuilder. I've done a few projects but it was saved into the computer at lab at college. So I can't really show you but I'll try and put in some pics next time.
It was fairly easy and reminded me of my IT days. I'm definately having fun with it. Basically, its to create a courseware that's interactive. Can't wait to do our Courseware project. You should give it a try, it's FREE ! for a trial period  😅

As for Canva, ive actually used it before making posters and pamplhets for my event last semester. I've made something to show you guys. So here's a link to my infographic i made about tea. Why? Cause I love tea la.. Enjoy !
